Child Support Recalculation Services (British Columbia)
Type of service
Support Recalculation Services
The Child Support Recalculation Service recalculates child support amounts on an annual basis. The recalculation is based on the payor's updated income information. If the income information is not supplied as requested, a 10% increase to the preceding year's income will be applied. Once recalculation has been completed, both parents are notified of the updated child support amount. Parents who disagree with the recalculation result may file an application to change their child support order with the court.
