British Columbia’s Family Maintenance Enforcement Program (FMEP) provides Outreach Officers to clients of some Family Justice Centres and Justice Access Centres. The Outreach Officer can meet with clients to explain FMEP enrollment, policy and procedures, and work with payors to arrive at voluntary payment arrangements.

A Family Justice Counsellor or Child Support Officer will refer you to this service, if appropriate.

Offered at the Vancouver and Nanaimo Justice Access Centres, and the Kelowna and Lower Mainland Family Justice Centres.
