The Dispute Resolution Office provides family mediation services to assist people to resolve conflict and reach agreements in a collaborative manner. Issues may include child custody and access, parenting plans, division of property, and financial arrangements.

How to access this service
Parties can access the service by:

  • by contacting the office at 306-787-5747 or toll free 1-866-257-0927;
  • by referral through Family Justice Services if the parties are undergoing supervised access or a custody and access evaluation; or
  • by court order directing the parties to attend mediation
Priority is given to people without mediation services in their local area and people who would not otherwise be able to afford mediation.

Parties may be income tested to determine fees based on a slide scale of $10/hr to $50/hr per party.
