Form and content of notice

(2) The notice shall be given in writing and shall set out

(a) the date on which the change is expected to occur; and

(b) the address of the new place of residence and contact information of the person or child, as the case may be.

What is the change

This amendment sets out that a notice of change of residence must include the new address and date of the move.

Reason for the change

To facilitate parenting time or contact, the notice must include the date of the move, the new address and any new contact information, such as telephone number.
