Message from the Deputy Minister and Associate Deputy Minister
National Public Service Week 2020: Celebrating Your Achievements
National Public Service Week has arrived and we are sure you can all agree that this year is unlike any we have had together. And just as these past few months have been like no other, our celebrations will be creative and innovative — just like this great team!
This year, in particular, we have so many reasons to celebrate. You should all feel very proud of your accomplishments over the past 12 months. Together we have achieved so much.
This year’s celebrations are focussed on marking our accomplishments, making connections with each other and showing our gratitude for one another. There are many fun and creative ways to thank and recognize each other informally this week. Remember to check out and participate in the many great ideas on our new Recognition page, including sharing a story about a colleague, or sending notes of appreciation. We also encourage you to take time to connect with each other outside of work-related meetings, emails or calls.
We can’t say it enough: we are tremendously proud and grateful for everything you do, every day. If you are new to the public service and this is your first NPSW, welcome. You have joined at a unique time that will call upon your fresh ideas and energy as we move into the next phases. If this is your 10th, 15th or 20th NPSW, thank you. Your knowledge and experience is helping us adapt and adjust throughout this challenging time.
Thank you again for all your work!
Nathalie G. Drouin, Ad. E. – A. François Daigle
