- 3% of Alberta Aboriginal youth in custody between 12-13 years of age on Snapshot day were male and 7% were female
- 24% of Alberta Aboriginal youth in custody between 14-15 years of age on Snapshot day were male and 36% were female
- 58% of Alberta Aboriginal youth in custody between 16-17 years of age on Snapshot day were male and 43% were female
