This is a pie chart which illustrates the pre-custody locations of the Alberta youth included in the Snapshot.
This pie chart is divided into 5 categories, which stand for each location: city, town, doesn’t know/other, Inuit Community and aboriginal reserve.
- 50% of Alberta youth included in the snapshot lived in a city
- 26% of Alberta youth included in the snapshot lived in a town
- 19% of Alberta youth included in the snapshot lived on an Aboriginal reserve
- 2% of Alberta youth included in the snapshot didn’t know or lived in another location
- 1% of Alberta youth included in the snapshot lived in an Inuit Community
