Ensuring the youth criminal justice system respects victims’ and survivors’ rights and addresses their needs is a core outcome for the youth criminal justice system. This outcome is measured by how satisfied victims/survivors are with the actions taken by the police. The single indicator under this outcome underscores the need to improve data collection and reporting efforts with respect to victims’ and survivors’ rights and needs.
