The X axis is divided by five categories, from left to right: 1-99 days, 100-249 days, 250-299 days, 300-399 days and 400 + days.
- 28% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth were sentenced to custody for 1-99 days
- 12% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth were sentence to custody for 100-249
- 18% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth were sentenced to custody for 250-299 days
- 29% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth were sentenced to custody for 300-399 days
- 12% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth were sentenced to custody for 400+ days
