Graph 7.1 presents the rate of Canadian peace bond issuance per 100,000 population between 1994/95 and 1999/00. The rate seems to increase over the years, passing from 29.6 breaches per 100,000 inhabitants in 1994/95 to 45.9 in 1999/00. The biggest increase recorded was between 1994/95 to 1995/96, when the rate climbed to 36.4 breaches per 100,000 inhabitants, an increase of 22.9%.
