ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS REPORTED BY PARENTS

Both parents reported an increase in the number of days per month that the non-custodial parent (typically the father) visited with the child after the evaluation interventions. The most frequent visitation arrangement was every other week (increase of 48 percent) compared to weekly at 22 percent. Both parents reported 64 percent of the time that access was more regular after the involvement of the Children's Lawyer. Sixty-three percent of the parents reported that the decision-making and visitation arrangements were arrived at with the assistance of the Children's Lawyer. Sixty-eight percent of the parents reported being satisfied with the final decision-making and visitation arrangements.
