Purpose:

The P.A.G.C. Holdings Inc. has entered into a contribution agreement with the Department of Justice Canada to manage the Prince Albert Urban Alternative Measures Program.
The program is a coordinated project involving the Prince Albert Grand Council, the Prince Albert Métis Women's Association School Mediation Program, and the Salvation Army.
The objectives of the program are to provide diversion and mediation programming as an alternative to the formal court process for adult and young offenders in the City of Prince Albert, nearby communities and rural areas surrounding the city. Processes utilized include formal cautioning, victim-offender mediation and family group conferencing for both pre-charge and post-charge cases referred to the program.
