Figure 1 is a vertical bar chart that illustrates a comparison of risk levels for sexual and non-sexual recidivism. It compares risk levels among young offenders whose family is involved in the offender’s treatment versus those whose family is not involved using two risk-measurement instruments: Estimate of Risk of Adolescent Sexual Offense Recidivism (ERASOR) and Youth Level of Service/Case Management Inventory (YLS/CMI).
The x axis lists the risk-measurement instruments, ERASOR and YLS/CMI. Each instrument has its own respective bar representing youth whose family was involved and youth whose family was not involved in treatment.
The y axis indicates the risk assessment score, increasing in increments of 5 and ranging from 0 to 25.
Results from the ERASOR scale show that young offenders whose family was involved in their treatment scored 17 while those whose family was not involved had a score of 21.4.
